Day 4

The fourth day we were still in Copenhagen and after consulting with the guys we have decided to go and see one of the castles near the city. I don’t know how many of you know that Denmark is a constitutional monarchy have as a current queen, her royal highness Queen Margaret. I’ve already knew some of the castles and that’s why I recommended for the boys Frederiksborg castle. It was built as a royal residence for King Christian IV and is now known as The Museum of National History . The current building replaced a previous castle erected by Frederick II, and is the largest Renaissance palace in Scandinavia. The palace is located on three small islands in the middle of Palace Lake, and is adjoined by a large, baroque formal garden. It was the perfect choice for a perfect day.

Although we did not have enough time to visit the castle we enjoyed the wonderful weather and the amazing garden surrounding it. Have a look:

In the evening we got back in the city where we managed to go in the top of the round tower from where we had a view of the entire city.

The day ended with an one hour boat trip on the city's channels and the well deserved beers. I've already told you the story of the 1 liter of alcohol cocktail.

That was our time spent in Copenhagen. On the 5th we left bright and early in the morning to Stockholm.

Love u. Take care.
